ANOTHER thing about living in a small town: the lady behind the counter at the bank while you're depositing money into your overdrawn bank account...

Is a girl you went to high school with.

"Oh hi, nice to see you."
"I've seen pictures of your baby on my space. She's super cute. How are you?"
"Um good, and you?"
"Just got married, working here at the bank, we have a house here in town and then a house out in the country that's like our ranch house. And you? Are you married?"
"Um yeah, he's cool."
"Back here in town? For good or just for a visit."
"Well, we'll see about that. Yeah."
"I know, sometimes I just want to move to our country ranch and do nothing but ride our horses all day long. So, how can I help you. You want to deposit this 10.00?"
"Um, yup."
"Okay, so," looks at computer to discover we're over drawn by $4.52. "Well, have a nice day!"
"Thanks."

This situation really could not have been avoided however, as the OTHER lady at the counter was the little sister of a guy I went to high school with.
