I don't know, maybe it was because Husband finally got all motivated and wanted to take us out for a nice family day of doing "something" but really all we could think of to do was walk around the town square, hit up a used bookstore and grab a milkshake. Not a bad day overall, only it was 60 degrees outside, windy and nobody else was really out and about.
It made me think of PB, how any given day you go out you're going to see a bunch of people doing a bunch of things, having a bunch of fun. I still have a very clear picture, walking down the street to the boardwalk, seeing the people gathering on the sand, exactly where you can find a good hot chocolate, or where you can grab a quick burger...
I am home here. Baby loves it, she loves walking out to the living room, laughing with my Mom and Dad, following my Dad around the house, helping him to look for the leak under the sink and then heading back to our room so she can bring out some more toys to play with. She loves the laughter and the people and the kids. She feels at home here.
And this is my home.
And yet I crave... mission potatoes on Sunday... strolling by the beach without a sweater on... people sitting outside their apartments on warm nights... the sound of the city nights...
Zee Plan...
I "plan" to post at least once a week now... maybe twice if you're lucky. I might post random stuff that doesn't matter sometimes, but we'll see.
POSTING DAYS ARE MONDAYS because most people spend their Monday's reading stuff on the internet any way.
