And "one of the guys" (Lawyer) says "You know my favorite part of that movie all about women being empowered, the part where they drive off the cliff. Actually, it's a perfectly good waste of a Thunderbird if you think about it."

And we all chuckled, cause he's just that funny guy and one girl was like "hey, so why do they drive off the cliff? Why would they do that?"

People go in with the whole "they were running from the law." "They were too chicken to keep going." "Girls that pretty can't be in jail."

And so I just HAVE to say "it was an illustration of the fact that with the oppresive nature of male dominance in this country that even though they were justified in their actions because of the hardship of being a woman in today's society there was no way they would get a fair chance with the oppresive male legal system."
