Zee Plan...

I "plan" to post at least once a week now... maybe twice if you're lucky. I might post random stuff that doesn't matter sometimes, but we'll see.

POSTING DAYS ARE MONDAYS because most people spend their Monday's reading stuff on the internet any way.

Saturday was all about going to the IMAX Grand Canyon Adventure Movie: so of course we were late and missed it

Well we missed the 2:00 showing anyway, which is when we were supposed to meet Jay and Vee.

And me, I threw a mini-fit, something about having to wake up Husband and remind him to get ready a million times and then something else about finding parking and how hard it is to drive around a parking lot when you have a crying baby and then something else about how the IMAX people just don't seem to CARE that we were only 6 minutes late... because they obviously don't have children and/or a husband who stays up late on Friday nights running dungeons with his "horde"...

But we still had a nice afternoon, walked all over Balboa Park, went to the Japanese Friendship Garden, watched the big fountain. Baby was mesmerized, she loved the water, the flowers, everything. And it was a NICE day in San Diego... super nice as a matter of fact, sunny and happy. People were laughing and clapping and kids were playing and God was watching. Evidenced by the fact that some lady handed me a flyer all about how we must trust in God, and we are all sinners, and if we've ever lusted after anyone we're as bad as murderers... so thank God (I just sinned, using name in vain!) Jesus went and died for our sins because otherwise it would all be hopeless.

We sat and fed Baby and read the flyer while we waited to go to the movie.

As we were readying to go in for the movie I still had the flyer in my hand. "Just throw it away," Husband said, but I hesitated and looked at the piles of papers and styrofoam containers and plastic bottles in the trashcan. And to think we were going to a movie all about our changing environment and how we affect it with our every day actions.

"I think God would want us to recycle," I said. "God wants us to recycle and not cheat on our spouses and to stop using bad words and for Christs Sake quit using the lords name in vain."
