On Saturday we went to have lunch with my Father in Law, this is because we are moving in four days (YEP, FOUR DAYS) and he wanted to be sure to see us (or Baby rather) before we left. We trotted on down to Imperial Beach (which is where he lives, a cute little beach city that feels like an entirely different world where everyone dresses a little 80's, walks a little slower) and had a nice meal together, talked a lot about "bidness" and "the future" and "buying a house" and then went back to my Father in Law's house to visit a little.
Baby decided it would be the perfect time to go through all of the open DVD's that Father in Law had on his coffee table. She just likes the boxes, she even likes the box with the naked girl on the front, except for her pirate hat.
PIRATES, the porn DVD collection, that's what Father In Law had out, among others (various Steven Segal and Adam Sandler movies), along with the empty Pizza boxes and Coke Cans.
No man grows up past 22, except when his wife is around (which, currently, Step Mother In Law is out of town).
When Baby went over and started playing with the TV and DVD player, turned it on and the movie started, for a split second I was convinced we were going to get a "Pirate Booty" all up in our faces. I waited for it, held my breath and...
Nope, just a movie.
