- Bringing up things they probably should have already known
- Reestablishing himself as a dang good speech talker
- Impresses even those who are like "wait, ain't he a black guy?"
- Tells us his story
- Reminds Americans that, um hey, you can be a black guy and President AND a pretty good guy.
- Reminds Americans that racism is actually real, and not just something that black guy on tv made up when you saw him on COPS.
- "...actually spoke to Americans about race as though we were adults"
- Reminds me that this is actually a serious issue, with serious outcomes and I should listen up more often...
