About that job I interviewed for: the one where they loved me but didn't love me enought to just give me the damn thing already

(Small town alert): So my mom's friend saw the head of the hiring committee lady (who was totally hard core when we interviewed and seemed stand offish AND oddly terse in her resonses) at the grocery store and she said "oh we just loved (me). We thought she was articulate and intelligent and just wonderful. I mean she was just so perfect. We're still interviewing though, but we still consider her very high on our list and are going to also consider her for this other job we might have."

So there's the news on the job front, still waiting...
