Zee Plan...

I "plan" to post at least once a week now... maybe twice if you're lucky. I might post random stuff that doesn't matter sometimes, but we'll see.

POSTING DAYS ARE MONDAYS because most people spend their Monday's reading stuff on the internet any way.

Last night we watched American Idol: and it was exactly the same as it is every single week

Archuleta sang a sad, sappy, belty ballad and then laughed in his Beavis kind of way at jokes he didn't get.
Carly promised to blow it out, but was just okay.
Brooke White sang like Brooke White.
Syesha had every chance to prove she can sing, and she sang better then the other girls, but she got no props for it at all.
Kristy Lee Cook got upset that they didn't heap praise on her version of whatever song she was singing (and seriously regretted not singing the Star Spangled Banner or some other middle america vote for me song).
David Cook did a rock version of a pop song and everybody freaked out.
Jason Castro was stoned.

I finally turned to Husband and said "you know what it is (besides Archulet's boring, daftness) it's that nobody is TRYING on this show, they don't take any risks any more. All they are trying to do is sail on through and not get voted off... so we get bored."

"Mariah Carey isn't bored."

"Mariah Carey is getting a lot of money, promoting her album and has a lot of good drugs that keep her from feeling ANYTHING AT ALL."

"Another pity party? You'd be willing to have gone crazy and be in a psycho ward and have a failed movie career... all for Mariah Carey's money."

"And boobs."

"Well she paid a lot for those too."

Anyway, here's Carly Smithson singing some Mariah Carey song... it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be.

And here's David Cook singing some Mariah Carey song, which wasn't as good as everybody says it was but it was better then anybody expected from Nickelback wannabe on a Mariah Carey night.
