Yeah, I dig. It's probably a 2008 problem as more and more people jump on the bandwagon, you have to start putting it out there "this is not blog worthy" or "if so and so finds out I told you this and you write about it on your blog then so and so will be really mad at me."
I am censored.
I don't exactly remember what it was that he didn't want on the blog (my father) but it was something apparently dastardly and top secret. People talk, people talk a lot and they use blogs against you and then (according to my mother) you get fired.
Probably one of the reasons I really love the job I'm at now, working for a small office that has a very nice boss and even better employees who if (and they probably will one day, we ALL spend a lot of time on the internet) they ever found this particular blog and read on and on about how I once used to be cool but am now a mother and wife and bad neighbor they would just laugh and say "you were never cool."
Anyway, since the start of work we haven't had a lot of time to be all San Diego'd out in our San Diego love. We spend a lot of time watching American Idol and trying to tire Baby out so she'll go to bed at a decent hour. Neighbor seems to have gotten over his hate for all things baby as he smiled at me when he came home today and said "have a nice day."
And last night our building had their every Thursday night "get together and drink beer and listen to music that can only be entertaining after drinking beer," party they have after they play their softball. I listened to them laugh and talk really loudly for a few hours and then said to Husband "maybe some day we'll get invited to their Thursday night party. Except we have a baby, and people don't like babies at parties because it reminds them that there are possible consequences for hooking up at parties and they don't want to think about consequences."
Husband looked at me and went "and here I thought it would be because it's kind of inappropriate to have a baby at any kind of party."
Yeah, yeah... that too.
Zee Plan...
I "plan" to post at least once a week now... maybe twice if you're lucky. I might post random stuff that doesn't matter sometimes, but we'll see.
POSTING DAYS ARE MONDAYS because most people spend their Monday's reading stuff on the internet any way.
