Last night we were watching American Idol and Carly Smithson (hometown girl) was in the bottom three

It was then I decided that America... needs a swift kick to the rear, being that Archuleta wasn't in the bottom three and the boy SIZUCKS. I could go on my David Archuleta diatribe about how he's patently boring and reminds me of a 35 year old "I coulda been a contender" lounge singer, but I'm not going to.

I decided last night that American Idol should start a new "vote against" hot line. People can call and vote for, but we can't call and vote against. I would vote against Archuleta, there, I said it.

Smithson being in the bottom three was pretty much the only surprise of the night. Kristy Cook was in the bottom three (again) and Amanda Overmeyer left, after America got tired of her singing the same song over and over again. And Archuleta... grrr...
