Went to a Job Interview: was told I'm "getting too old to live in PB"

TOO OLD?!

It's the kid thing really, having kids in a town full of kids leaves something to be desired for most people (but not for me). Plus then they go asking me about "how do you deal with the noise? the random drunk people on every night of the week? the street parking?"

It all sounds so glamorous doesn't it?

Truth be told, it seems Baby makes more noise after 11pm then anyone else in our complex. Last night as we were catching up on American Idol, the girl couldn't stop singing along. She's apparently a singer, and a bosser as she kept reminding me that she too was in the room and even though Husband and I were busy critiquing singers like we know what we're talking about, she's got things to do.

Noise aside, the job interviews went well and I am now weighing the options of what's important... office environment that is flexible and really fun OR money.

An age old debate, but one that I need to have even more now considering we have that whole day care thing looming over our heads, taunting us with it's "see, now you have to pay for a whole other little person."

If only "cool, chill" office was also "office that lets you bring kids in to work."

Have you hung out with my daughter lately? She'd probably spend the whole day trying to type on the computer, playing with papers, eating...

Actually she's already ready to go to work.
